About
Built for the person working the shifts.
Not for the employer, not for the rota board, not for anyone who needs to approve anything. Clock Shift belongs to whoever is actually doing the hours.
Why it exists
Knowing when you are working should not involve scrolling back through a group chat for a photograph of a printout.
That problem is solved for anyone with a nine-to-five and a shared calendar. It is not solved for people whose week is different every week, who work nights, who run a cycle that does not fit into seven days, and who get told their shifts on a sheet of A4 pinned to a wall.
Almost everything aimed at those people is built for the employer. Staff get the leftovers: a login they did not choose, a rota they cannot edit, and an app that logs them out every fortnight. Clock Shift is the other thing.

What it refuses to do
It will never manage a team
No published rotas, no approvals, no swaps, no manager view. One account is one person. That boundary is what keeps it fast.
No advertising
When your working life is the data, advertising builds a conflict of interest into the product. Clock Shift is paid for by the people using it.
Your data is never sold or shared
Your shifts say when you sleep, when you are away from home and when you were off. That stays yours.
No engagement mechanics
No streaks, no badges, no notifications manufacturing a reason to open it. A tool you use when you need it is the right outcome.
Where your data lives
Your shifts are stored on servers we run in the UK. They are not sold, not shared and not fed into anything.
This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties, down to the typeface being served from this domain. Privacy has the detail.
Pricing
Clock Shift will be £3.99 a month after a free trial. No free tier propped up by advertising, and no surprise at the end of month one.
